One night, under a beautiful low-hanging full moon and shortly after a powerful encounter with God, I found myself pondering how God could call humanity His masterpiece.
As I gazed at the moon, I questioned how God could especially consider someone like me—a needy, flawed imperfect being—anything close to a masterpiece?
In that quiet moment, God spoke to my spirit and said, “Be like that, a full moon.”
At first, I didn’t understand. But then it came to me: the moon doesn’t produce any light on its own—it is simply reflecting the light of the sun. And the only time the moon appears full is when the world is completely out of the way.
That revelation helped me see that I don’t need to shine on my own. I only need to reflect the light and love of the Son of God.
